Tis The Season For A Netflix Binge Watch

It's the most wonderful time of the year - a few days off from work to sit at home and enjoy time with my one true love, my Samsung Smart TV. I kid (sorta…), but as the months become colder and winter fully sets in I love to plan for a winter TV binge to keep me occupied when the world is a lot colder and a little grayer outdoors.
Since the advent of Netflix, Hulu, Prime TV and HBO Go, I have chosen one TV show to binge between during the winter and if you too want to partake in this tradition, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite binge-worthy shows for your consumption. Here goes!

Pink Aviator Coat and Floral Maxi Dress

We've already seen this amazing pink coat that I scored at H&M for $10 last year but this maxi dress is a new addition to my winter wardrobe. I HAD to wear them together, they were the perfect fit and I am obsessed. It's the perfect way to casually ring in the new year or hit up holiday parties. I can totally see myself throwing a chunky sweater over this floral maxi with a thick belt and boots as the season progresses and toss the layers once spring arrives. $35 for a couple of seasons of wear, heck yes..

Thirteen Stylish Reasons Under $100 To Love Purple

While I love all the colors of the rainbow and have made color my niche, I do play favorites when it comes to purple. When I found these pants at Savers a couple of months back I hoped that they were the perfect fit when I got them home to try on. Sure enough, like a glove they went on. THRILLED. Since then, I've been throwing them on with oversized sweaters and tees. They're a little more low-rise than I usually go but I'm not going to let that stop my love for them..

In honor of my purple leather pants and my love for purple I'm sharing my favorite purple pieces under $100 and where to buy them!

What To Wear To Holiday Parties This Season

A little (or a lot) of sparkle and shimmer during the holidays goes without saying, right? As soon as the month of December hits, consider me doused in glitter and sent into the world. Makeup, sequins, you name it. But what about getting your locks party ready? Your hair needs to sparkle on its own without actually having sparkle in it (glitter is such a pain to get out of your hair, let alone the environment, trust me on this one!)

Six Creative Gift Ideas For All Ages At The Met Store

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Met Store for IZEA Worldwide. All opinions are 100% mine.
Like most New Yorkers, I have a special place in my heart for The Metropolitan Museum of Art. I've been going since I was 14 and it never gets old. We easily spend hours every month or so going through each exhibit and wandering the iconic grounds.

The Quick And Easy Five Minute Makeover For Your Bedroom

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gryphon for IZEA Worldwide. All opinions are 100% mine.
When it comes to home decor I'm constantly in need of change. Whether it's rearranging the furniture, swapping textiles or painting walls, I'm almost always 'updating' our space. I like to think of it as constantly evolving. But on a more realistic level, I know my Libra scales are at fault for my serial indecisive behavior. Thankfully, David has been more than supportive: walking in to find rooms rearranged while he was out at an afternoon of meetings, or me deciding to paint our bedroom ceiling a week before Indiana was born. But, truth be told, the constant decorating is not only time consuming, but borderline exhausting. That's why it's a good thing that all the practice has given me the ability to change an entire room with a simple swap of textile, wall hanging and/or change of bedding. It's been my little shortcut to keep it from turning into a taxing day or week long home improvement adventure. Just swap out your bedding and boom, it's a whole new room! Did I mention it's more cost effective?

Best Grooming Gifts Under $130 That He'll Actually Use

Who else loves getting grooming gifts during the holidays? I personally LOVE getting razors. One: because I hate (slash constantly forget about) buying them and two: they're one of those things that constantly need replacing and well, aren't cheap. Fact: I refuse to buy my own and use David's on the regular. So, I basically buy him razors for me to use...

Statement Boots: Sam Edelman Embroidered Over-The-Knee Boots

Ok, it took me about a year to REALLY get on board with these boots after snagging them on eBay. But, after finding them in one of my baskets about a month ago I haven't been able to take them off. I've worn them with jeans and dresses but wasn't entirely sold until I wore them recently with an oversized sweater and tailored high-waisted shorts. It gave them the chance to really stand out, which they should, that embroidery is amazing. Since they're a couple of seasons old they're sadly sold out (except for some on eBay, below), however I found a couple of similar pairs for around or under $100! So, get your statement boot style on!
