The Best Place To Stay In New Orleans For Groups: Domio Baronne Luxury Apartment Style Hotel

If you're heading to New Orleans for an extended weekend with a group of your best girlfriends, the Domio is the place to base. Sure, our girl's trip was off to a rough start with high-winds and flooding the second the plane landed plus a hurricane two days away- but the moment we rolled up to Domio Baronne St, all of our anxieties washed away- pun intended. We were barely 6 inches passed the door by the time we realized this stay was going to be an epic one. The decor throughout the entire complex will stop you in your tracks for a collective "ooh-" and "-ahh".

Every inch of the hotel is the perfect canvas for getting the INSTAGRAM SHOT. So yes:  Domio is my kind of place. Hello, carefully curated decor, artwork and show-stopping wallpaper in an historic warehouse-district building. They definitely put the elbow grease into every single detail to perfectly represent one of my favorite cities. Mardi Gras Beads Wallpaper, Voodoo aesthetic, and Emril's Jambalaya Recipe framed on the wall - Laissez les bons temps rouler....
Your stay at Domio will be anything but ordinary and that's a promise.

Beyond the epic decor and incredibly spacious rooms, you start to notice how amazing the Apartment-style spaces really are. Four of us stayed in the Two Bedroom / Two Bath with Two Twin Beds and a Queen sized bed. The other two were stationed in a Two Bedroom / Two Bath with Queen Beds. Both rooms were equally as wow-ing and it was nearly impossible to play favorites. Although I will admit Gita and I hit the jackpot with a walk-in closet (that could have easily doubled as another bedroom), and an enormous bathroom with an incredibly glamorous tub. I was more than happy with our accommodations. I fell head over heels for the enormous kitchen that rivaled the size of my entire apartment. And hey: FULL-SIZE washer and dryer in each room!

Truth, we had more space than we knew what to do with. It came in handy when we needed to take a nap, do a little work, or just lounge in-front of the TV. We could disperse, take some me time, or be all together in one room. It's the best way to go when traveling with a group (or even your family: hello old friend personal space). Even when Hurricane Barry cancelled our flights and shut down the entire city, we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the extra day cooped up, drinking wine and having the most epic adult slumber party with 5 of my closest friends.

And the rooms were only the tip of the iceberg: A 24-hour concierge, a rooftop pool boasting sweet views of the city, as well as a state of the art game room for kids of all ages. The whole shebang was perfect for a rainy day spent indoors, there is even a pretty large exercise room to keep things toned up while you're enjoying your days of bottomless plates of Creole delicacies.

If you're heading to New Orleans, Domio needs to be at the top of your list for places to stay. You'll never want to stay at just an ordinary hotel again...
