I love baking, however the reality of it is that in most cases I don't have time to go through and make everything from scratch. So of course I cut corners on certain recipes, and have found that some things actually work just as good as 'slaving over the stove'. Most recently I tried my luck at (mini) cinnamon rolls with crescent rolls, surprisingly they tasted just like they would've if I had made the dough from scratch - win.
Mini Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls
1 Tube Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
Pumpkin Pie Spice
Preheat Oven To 350˚
Rollout the dough on a cookie sheet and piece together..
Sprinkle a hefty amount of pumpkin pie spice and brown sugar over dough, and then lightly sprinkle cinnamon over top.
Roll Up The Dough
And cut 1'' pieces with unflavored dental floss
Place in greased mini muffin baking tins
and bake for around 8 minutes or until lightly browned...
Enjoy plain, or with icing.
Because their fun sized it means you can have more, right?
