One of my reader's recently asked me if I ever wear leggings, and the answer is yes. However, during the summer in Florida it's almost too hot to wear the thicker leggings I favor. Today gladly, was an exception being that it rained and gave a cool breeze afterwards. I threw on my 'Oil Spill'** tunic and a black fitted vest with my comfy knock around boots and ran some errands. Slouchy yet put together, this is just an example of one way I wear leggings. I love pairing them with oversized tees, fitted tunics with boyfriend jackets and booties of sorts.

** For some reason shiny shirts like this always get a splatter/stain of oil here and there, and I'm terrible at removing it. Ok I hate it. So I decided to take matters into my own hands by splattering oil 'abstractly' all over this tunic, then washed it. I like the watercolor brushstroke look it gives off now.
The DIY on the tunic is Fab. ! Great idea !
