Sheer Genius

Sheer was spotted from Runways in NYC and London to Runways in Paris and Milan. Mui Mui in Paris used sheer as a base for embroidering chic dress. Mathew Williamson in London, was daring when he created blouses and tops that were completely see through and adding opaque pockets in spots where body parts would be shown. ADAM in NYC was all about layering sheer material on the neckline of his beautiful dresses adding a very retro look. I'm crazy about sheer, and I was crazy about it for Spring 2006, when I got this gorgeous nude Laundry sheer tunic. I know that on the Runways The Spring 2010 trend was worn over (other Spring 2010 trend) Bra Tops.

To accomplish Sheer you don't have to go all GAGA on me, but don't let me stop you. Recently I found this great lace top and dress at Forever21 for 32.90 (each) , they are the perfect Sheer pieces because they have a beautiful silk lining and are so romantic looking, and just the right off white color for spring. Not into Lace? I also spotted a Blush colored Sheer Ruffled Tunic at JCP, from the Bisou Bisou Collection. Beautiful and also Romantic. If going completely Sheer isn't so much for you, then try this shirt with cut out shoulders using a sheer lace applique, it's just enough sheer to accomplish the trend.
