Since I'll be traveling through the night, I didn't a get a chance to put together a maxi monday post, It was a little chilly up here for my token maxis...

Since getting a waffle maker a few weeks ago we've been on a waffle kick, and this was my first pick, and boy am I glad I started off with this because it's amazing and makes your kitchen smell amazing. Aside from it's soft, melt in your mouth texture the rich apple aroma and taste just makes it all worth whatever calories are there...They're a must try especially if you have some apple cider laying around!

Apple Cider Waffle Recipe - Serves 4

1 Cup All Purpose Flour

1 Tsp. Baking Powder

1/3 Tsp. Baking Soda

Tiny Pinch Of Salt

1 Tsp. Sugar

1 1/2 Tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice

1 Egg

1 C Apple Cider (Or Pressed Apple Juice With Cinnamon)

Preheat Your Waffle Iron and Spray With Non Stick Spray. Combine Dry Ingredients in Bowl...

I don't know about you but this week has been nothing short of beautiful, we were lucky enough to spend the holidays with both sets of parents and then take off for an impromptu mini vacay to the mountains to celebrate my grandfather's birthday and relax a bit. And though the boys and myself have been sick the whole time it's still been amazing. Now, if only it would 'really' snow for the guys. Eh, they're having fun either way..

 (Faux) Fur can take even the most simple look and give it texture and a dash of pop, especially when there's a little print to play with. Of course, vests of the fur-ish variety are just perfect for those winter days where  you just don't feel much like putting effort in while dressing. Fur + Leather + Statement shoes and you're done.

When I need a casual go to look for those days spent at the Farmer's Market, Park or Grocery store, I always reach for this jacket and pair it with just about anything I can find in my closet.

 It's not quite christmas without a little bit of sparkle, gold and red. And I mean it in the coziest possible way. Merry Christmas.

 Since it's just about Christmas the weather wised up and finally gave in, and cooled down, bringing a little bit more holiday cheer. There's just something about the cold that makes Christmas that much more special, right?

Everyone loves desserts during the holidays, it's one of the main reasons most of us make resolutions to hit the gym in the new year. But when things are bite sized I just can't help but feel less guilty about indulging in my favorite goodies, and pecan pie is at the top of the yes please list. Last year, I came up with this interpretation sans the (gross) corn syrup, so I decided to take it and shrink it down to fun size. Let's just say they didn't last too long in our household and it packed just enough caramel, crust and crunch to satisfy my craving.

Mini Pecan Pie Recipe 

 Yields About 3 Dozen

• 1 C Light Brown Sugar
• 1/4 C White Sugar
• 1/2 C Butter
• 2 Eggs
• 1 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour
• 1 Tbsp Milk
• 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
• 1C Chopped Pecans
• 2 Rolls Of Immaculate Baking Co. Pie Crust Or Two Pie Crusts

 Last add the milk, vanilla and nuts.

 Pour in mini pie crusts...

And bake for 15 minutes (or until lightly browned) at 350˚. Remove from oven, let cool completely before removing from tins.

 Try them alone, with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
