This Week...

All in all I think it's been a good week, I finally picked a name for my webisode channel, which is big, 3 weeks later (stay tuned), sported a leopard mani, and to top it off I get to go meet with Kristin from Bon Bon Rose Girls later today!
The very same day I put these on, I got this fabulous wrap! Pink leopard, yess!
We fit in a beach day, amazing.
I organized the scarf end of my closet...

Slouching Around

As much I love my form fitting silhouettes, there's just something about adding a little slouch to a casual afternoon look that really makes me feel cozy, yet chic. And I really just love this top, it's been good to me...

The Flow

I can never go too long without wearing this dress, like the leopard (here), it's just one of those pieces I tend to always wear when I'm in need of print and comfort, with that right amount of flow.

Philadelphia Indulgence Chocolate Spread

Chocolate is one of those things that has to be included in my daily life, I don’t know what it is, but I’m just not happy without it. And of course, I’m always looking for new ways to bring a little more chocolate in my life with out getting bored, so when I found out about Kraft’s new PHILADELPHIA INDULGENCE Chocolate Cream Cheese Spread I knew I had to try it. I snagged one of each flavor, they offer Dark, White and Milk Chocolate, Milk turned out to be the choice product with everyone in the house and was referred to as chocolate cheesecake, it tastes exactly like it, which is amazing.

We used it on a number of things from Bananas to Strawberries for myself and cookies, pretzels and pineapple for the husband. I actually just caught him sandwiching it between two cookies and some ice cream. And the thick, pudding like consistency makes it the perfect topper for cupcakes and cakes, which I’ll be trying in the near future with this cupcake recipe . I look forward to getting creative with this new found dessert and the price makes it easy to justify at just under $3 a pop, Win. Win.

Real chocolate blended with rich creamy Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread.

She's A Lady

There's just something about these shoes that just sings to me, I'm sure it has something to do with the scalloping detail and of course, the color but they just seem to make everything I wear "right"...

How Do You Unwind?

Happy hour is the go to occasion for most people, it's perfect for impromptu birthdays, Cinco De Mayo and my personal favorite, after "work" drinks with your pals.  I love getting all my girlfriends together to grab a drink and (more importantly) some food, to just chat about our week, whether we are venting about work or talking this season's shoe trends, we're enjoying our moments together while unwinding from the tedious week. Not to mention it's another reason to get dressed up and look pretty, I love throwing on a maxi dress and some wedges to go sip margaritas or a glass of wine with my favorite gals and talk about what we love about our favorite foods, accessories and trends. What could be better? Other than it being on the beach...

How do you unwind with Happy Hour?

When you need an escape from the daily grind, or just a place to unwind with friends, go to your Margarita Place. Go to Chili’s. Our daily specials on margaritas & appetizers are the perfect excuse for you and your friends to get together after work. Premium margaritas, boneless buffalo wings and hanging out with friends at Chili’s—there’s no better way to end your day.

Short Suits

I'm always looking for new takes on short suits, and adding print seems like the best way to make a blazer short pairing really pop, and though this blazer is a little on the boxy side (I'm going to alter it now...) it still adds a bit of flare to my print mixing pairs.

Plaid, Peplum and Pumps

It kills me how often I forget about pieces in my closet, such as this top. I really need a better way to showcase my clothes other than hangers, I think they just drown in the ocean of clothing and shoes that is my closet. Ideally having something like Cher, in Clueless, yes I'm referring to that, had to organize her clothes would be great...It can be done, right?

5 Things To Love For Spring at Material Addict

While checking my favorite stores during the weekend for new Spring arrivals, I noticed that Material Addict just a got a bundle of clothes for for the new season, from tribal accessories and bold color to hi-lo hem lines and turban-esque head wraps. Here are 5 of my favorites from their Spring Collection...

First off we know how much I love leopard, and a good hi lo hem, so this skirt is of course my first pick and for under $35, it makes it budget friendly too.
And of course, I love a good head wrap and the punchy orange hue makes it ideal for this season's trendsetting color.
Another trend I'm loving is color blocking, how perfect is this tank for layering?
Since everyone has jumped on the colored pants trend I guess it's about time I do too, love this color!
And we all know I'm a bonafide belting addict, how fabulous is this for spicing things up and under $20, sold!

Recipe: Apple, Spinach, & Banana Smoothie

It would seem that baking and 'creative' cooking has been put on the back burner while I finish putting the house together before Evan's 1st birthday next month (Really it's been almost a year, I cannot believe it). Good thing smoothies are quick, easy and convenient, and they're even more popular with the toddler than I anticipated, and he knows spinach is in it (he put it in himself)! I am loving this green goodness, and since some of you wanted more healthy alternatives, (smmmh chocolate is healthy) here's today's recipe. Xo.

Apple, Spinach and Banana Smoothie - 3 Servings
3 Apples - Peeled, Cored and Sliced
2 Bananas
3/4 Cup Milk, Soy Milk or Almond Milk
1 1/2 Cups Baby Spinach
Mix ingredients together in blender, puree until fully blended. Serve Cool and Enjoy.

This Week...

This week, I shot the first of many webisodez for my upcoming project, new gig. Got a couple pairs of shoes, I know I have a problem, my closet is officially overflowing, I think I just counted over 150...Let's just not tell the husband...

Finally got our dining room table and now I can get the room finished, 6 months later....
Spring is here, in the colors of purple and gold...
....Pastel green, pink and blue, I already ate all the Mr. Goodbars, I just can't resist the peanuts and chocolate.
Received a new pair of shoes, won on Shoeternity!
And of course, nothing is more relaxing than unwinding with a cup of tea, good think Influenster knew I loved Stash, and sent it in my #lovevbox.
Happy Weekend, Xo

With A Little Glimmer

We all need a little sparkle to brighten our days, whether it's a shiny new ring, studded bag or even a fabulous jeweled top, like this one (last seen here and here, yes that's the bump). And of course what better way to pair it than with my favorite, a utility jacket and metallic sandals. Sold!
