It would seem that baking and 'creative' cooking has been put on the back burner while I finish putting the house together before Evan's 1st birthday next month (Really it's been almost a year, I cannot believe it). Good thing smoothies are quick, easy and convenient, and they're even more popular with the toddler than I anticipated, and he knows spinach is in it (he put it in himself)! I am loving this green goodness, and since some of you wanted more healthy alternatives, (smmmh chocolate is healthy) here's today's recipe. Xo.
Apple, Spinach and Banana Smoothie - 3 Servings
3 Apples - Peeled, Cored and Sliced
2 Bananas
3/4 Cup Milk, Soy Milk or Almond Milk
1 1/2 Cups Baby Spinach
Mix ingredients together in blender, puree until fully blended. Serve Cool and Enjoy.
