Quaran-stream: Here's 17 of the best Supernatural + Sci-fi TV Shows to cozy up and watch while social distancing

As we practice Social Distancing I figured it would only be fitting to spend the weekend (er, all of the weekdays) cozied up and watching my favorite supernatural and sci-fi shows across the streaming networks.

1. Legacies
Ok really, if you haven't already, you should start with The Vampire Diaries, then the Originals and THEN land on the final (maybe) spinoff of the bunch: Legacies. There's only two seasons and you can stream it free on The CW app (and Netflix).

2. Roswell, New Mexico
Aliens of Roswell? Enough said. The reboot of Roswell is actually pretty good. The CW just kicked off the new season so you can catch up on last season and follow along through season two.

3. The Witcher
While this definitely wasn't my favorite Netflix series, the story line was a little hard to follow in the beginning, but as soon as I found out it was modeled on the game it made (a little) more sense. Although even before then I will say it had me hooked enough to see what was going to happen next. For the Henry Cavill fans, you're basically looking at 10 hours of him shirtless, so...

Truth: I'm still trying to figure WTF was happening though.

4. Forever
I really, really like this one. I was extremely disappointed that it only had one season. Basically, it follows NY's star medical examiner and well, he can't die. It stars Ioan Gruffudd, who has a current show on HULU as a medical examiner in Australia and it's oddly familiar (though he's not supernatural) - so, watch Forever on CW SEED and then move on to Harrow on Hulu.

5. The Mandalorian
The world loves "Baby Yoda". Amirite? Stream it on Disney+

6. Luna Nera
I was very surprised at who ended up being the chosen one/savior in the end. If you like witches, love, a weird ending - this is for you. Full disclosure: It's originally from Spain and is dubbed over for English, but it's a pretty interesting watch. Stream it on Netflix.

7. Haven
Based on Stephen King's novel, The Colorado Kid, Haven follows FBI agent Audrey Parker who thought she was on a routine assignment in Haven, Maine but finds it's much more than that (muah hahahahahahaaaaahhh...). Hello supernatural afflictions and the deep dark secrets of tortured souls... Stream it on Netflix

8. Bitten
Judging by the title, It's a dead giveaway that we're talking werewolves. Made in Canada and starring Laura Vandervoort (Degrassssiiii & Smallville), it's definitely up your alley If you love a trashy supernatural show to dive into. Yes, trashy. Stream it on Netflix.

9. Penny Dreadful
I'm all here for Penny Dreadful bringing classic literary characters like Frankenstein, Dorian Gray and Dracula to a new light by weaving their origins together in weird, dark twists and turns . Stream it on Netflix.

10. Man in The High Castle
Ok, this one is a little heavier but honestly it's so, so good. Can you even imagine if the Axis powers had won World War II? Well, The Man In The High Castle alternate history series based on Philip K Dick's story takes an unpleasant look at the dystopian scenario and I'll let you in on a little secret: it ain't pretty. However, a new hope does emerge and you're going to have to watch the series to find out more...

Not loving the new stuff? Take a trip back to your childhood and stream some oldies but goodies...

11. So Weird
If you had The Disney Channel as a kid you absolutely followed computer nerd, Fi, on the road with her rockstar mom uncovering allll the paranormal phenomena on her travels. It's now on Disney+ so it's time to re live your early teens and give it a re watch.

12. Sabrina The Teenage Witch
The OG Sabrina and a little more kid-friendly. Melissa Joan Hart will always be my favorite and it's way more fun and quirky than the current series streaming on Netflix.

13. 3rd Rock From The Sun
Aliens! They're just like us? Maybe? Go ahead, Laugh out loud at the oddly satisfying show that we spent the 90's watching. Stream it FREE on Tubi, Vudu and Crackle.

14. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
I remember visiting my grandparents at their cabin in NC and squealing "Buffy the Vampire Slayer is on tonight! We have to watch it!" God bless them, they sat through the entire show for their 14 year old granddaughter. They didn't love it, but what did they know? All I know is I had a hard time deciding who to choose, Spike, Angel or Riley. Stream It On HULU.

15. Supernatural
15 seasons. FIFTEEN. And it covers all of the Supernatural things. All of them. I definitely started watching this when it aired, when I was in high school. My husband hates it. Stream it on Netflix or The CW.

16. Are You Afraid Of The Dark
Are you even a millennial if you didn't watch Are You Afraid Of The Dark during your childhood? You better believe I tuned into Nick every week for the latest installment of ghost stories. If you're really looking for a stroll down memory lane - Stream it for $1.99 an episode on Amazon & VUDU.

17. Goosebumps
We read the book, we watched the show and we definitely loved the movie. If you have kids, chances they are re living your childhood memories courtesy of R.L Stine. Watching it today makes it look WAY less scary than it did as kids... still a little creepy though. Stream it on Netflix.
