Do-It-Yourself Quick and Easy Hershey's Chocolate Candy House

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Hershey Company for IZEA Worldwide. All opinions are 100% mine.
Show of hands: Who loves getting festive with the family during the holiday season, but totally lacks the patience and space for full on bake-offs? Don't get me wrong, I love baking cookies and building gingerbread houses with the boys, but too many cooks in the kitchen becomes more work than fun for everyone involved. Let's be real: they want instant gratification and none of the above are instant. At all.

Statement Outerwear: Metallic Trench Coat

One of the bigger trends this season is the statement coat. I am all for letting my outerwear do all the talking during the the colder months and this particular jacket is no exception. Hello, sparkle. I've actually had this bad boy cooped up in my closet since 2014 after snagging it for $30 on Thredup with no clue how to wear it,  but recently gave it new life after wearing it as a dress during fashion week with a belt bag and layering it over shorts and over the knee boots. Honestly, I've never been into so much metallic in my life. It's just the right amount if you ask me...

While, I'm definitely channeling Carmen San Diego in this getup I definitely think you need a statement coat in your life so I'm sharing some of my favorites under $125 below..

Cozy Black Friday Shopping Outfit Idea: Oversized Sweater & Coated Denim

Happy post-Thanksgiving, er, Black Friday. Who's doing some serious shopping today? I have a few errands I have to run but will mostly doing my shopping from home today. Either way I'll be wearing the crap out of this grey sweater and coated cropped jeans. Obviously my red boots had to be involved because I wear them just about everywhere and my plaid jacket because I haven't started to rotate coats yet (which I should). It's officially feeling like winter so I'm going to need to get in on some coat action soon because I'll be freezing my bum off otherwise...

Three Cute and Cozy Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas That Make A Statement

I am READY for Thanksgiving this week. Who's with me? We bought a turkey, have tons o' pumpkins readying themselves to become pies and are ready to get cookin'. I'll be wearing stretchy pants for the occasion since we're keeping it low-key with the boys so I can literally wear my pajamas to feast and no-one will know the better.

Cute oversized t-shirt snake print dress under $50

I'm really  favoring animal prints this season and snake print is no exception. Like, leopard I totally consider this easy to wear print a neutral and am digging this particular style and shape Before we dive into our winter layers I had to share this dress on it's own. It's insanely cute, right? Obviously I love it on it's own with a pair of over the knee boots but after the temperatures start dropping the wearable-options stack up. How cute would this be layered over a black turtleneck and opaque tights or with sneakers and an oversized aviator Moto jacket?

Favorite part? It's a whopping $32 on ASOS. Winnn. Definitely check out this dress and all of their other animal print offerings. I have a tiger print coming your way next week...

Black and White Grid Print Winter Outfit

Plaid on Plaid on Plaid. Well, just the two but it's oh so good. I love the scale of both versions of the print and how they fit so perfectly draped next to each other. They're so similar but just different enough to give the right amount of contrast and pop. To say I've been wearing it on repeat is a bit of and understatement. I've been swapping back and forth between this pima cotton turtleneck and an oversized grey sweater. Both are perfect for this, but I do have to say it's way more tailored looking with the black. And yes, these boots are making another appearance and you're probably going to see this a ton more over the season since I just snagged them on MAY-JOR sale on Poshmark. $35 shipped is such a steal considering how much I paid for the red version last year. I even grabbed the identical white pair for under $50 to complete the collection. When you find a shoe you love, buy it in every color...

Pink Faux Fur Coat and Polka Dot Skirt

I've been dying to REALLY wear this fluffy pink aviator jacket since I bought it at the end of the  season last year. $10 for the win at H&M. I was pretty excited to pull it out and find that it just so happened to match perfectly with this side button print skirt. Throw on a black turtleneck and black booties and you're ready to go. As you can see, I really went with the dot theme: the skirt's print, earrings and colorful dotted wall. LOVE.

Six Simple Ways To Stay Healthy While Traveling

After spending the last 10 out of 12 months traveling, I can't help but notice it's taken a bit of a toll on my mental and physical health. As exciting as traveling is, it can also take a lot out of you. Have you ever heard the term I need a vacation from my vacation? It couldn't ring more true, especially when you're coming home from a 12-hour flight in a completely opposite time zone.

How To Make Black and Brown Your Go-To Combination This Season

Ok, who else loves black and brown paired together?! I know, it took me a while to get on board but after diving right in I haven't looked back. This fall backdrop should be all the proof you need that black and brown BELONG together. Now, let's make them your go-to combination this season.

I'm usually all about an all black outfit paired with brown or cognac accessories. Note: start with tans and cognacs if you're not ready to go full on black and brown. I've noticed 'warmer' browns tend to look best with black but it's all about preference.

After you've mastered the brown accessories work your way up to separates and layers. I am obsessed with the black turtleneck, faux-leather brown shorts and over the knee boots. It breaks up the color in the outfit a bit giving the perfect amount of contrast for the colors. I stuck to using brown just the one time but it POPS perfectly against the black. Not ready for separates? Let's try layers - scarves and jackets are the best way to make a statement without the full commitment...

Go ahead, make black and brown your go to this season..
