Summer is officially around the corner and of course it's time to stock upon the footwear staples. I'm sure by now you've rounded up a few pairs of sandals but now you need to set your sights on something a little more practical for those long days out. Of course, I'm talking about a good, lightweight sneaker.
Sure, you're all set in the athletic workout sneaker department, but you need a shoe that you can also dress up and down for summer. I personally look for one that I can wear with cropped jeans AND dresses. Like, the Hattie canvas sneakers by Vionic. I've already worn them a few times with jeans and overalls, but I really love them with this bright yellow sundress. The embroidered detail on the dress definitely helps bring out the espadrille texture from the sneakers. It's one of those just throw -on -and-go looks that just brightens everything. The sneakers add a casual summer vibe with the addition of the round straw bag. I think it's safe to say I can justify having this look on repeat for the next couple of months.
