Spring Staple under $100: Slip-On Mules

You might remember my day of apple picking with Koolaburra this past fall, here. Well, it's spring and I'm swapping my cozy boots in favor of something a little lighter. Meet the Raychel slip-on Mule. I mean, can you even with this blush hue and perforation detail? Me either. The second I saw them on the site "I was like what other options"? Kidding. I love the updated nod to this throwback style - the super soft suede, cushy sole and chunky heel is giving me all sorts of life right now - especially with spring weather starting to bloom. Squee.

For under $80, they're the perfect staple for adding a little pep in your step as you transition your wardrobe from the gross winter to the cheerful spring without breaking the bank. Did I mention that blush hue? It also comes in black and tan so there are some other neutral options.

As far a styling goes, I'm loving the mule trend with cropped jeans. It's just enough skin to elongate without going 'full sandal'. They also look great with shorts, dresses and skirts. Stay tuned for other styling options because they're going to be getting a lot of wear as the season moves along. Hint: I'm wearing them EVERYWHERE.

I wanted to play with colors that helped the blush tone pop and this dress did just that with the muted pinks, yellow and blues. I couldn't resist layering my dress over light-wash distressed cropped jeans- because it's currently one of my favorite ways to go when the temperatures are under 65˚degrees. They're just long short enough to showcase my ankle and let the blush mules that adorn my feet make a statement.

For accessories I stayed in theme with this season's must-haves and brought my ring handle bag out. It adds a little something extra without stealing the thunder from my mules.
