When it comes to gift giving and receiving on Valentine's Day, my husband and I are super unconventional. We skip over the traditional gifting of jewelry, flowers, and occasionally chocolates in favor of something more 'fun' and unique. We're basically set with hot chocolate, take out and quirky gifts - I couldn't be more happy with the way of things. Who needs diamonds when you get a box full of specialty hot chocolate mix? No seriously, file that under gifts that get me excited.
As far as this year's gift ideas go we landed on UncommonGoods, a Brooklyn based e-commerce site that specializes in unique and creative goods from an array of artisans & designers. If you like supporting local businesses and you like my super bright agate coasters (spotted here on Instagram) you're going to LOVE Uncommongoods and their robust selection. Plus, they have an awesome Valentine's Day guide that makes navigating and shopping for your significant other (or self) ridiculously easy and dare I say, fun? The amount of cool and unique items there will dazzle you.
So, with a little help from the hubs, we created a guide of unconventional Valentine's Gifts for Him and Her for under $100 from Uncommongoods. Check out my favorite finds for myself and see what's on David's wishlist this year.
