Meet "The Bonnie"

13 August 2015

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to "The Bonnie" dress. Over the last several months I've been working along side with Trunkist to create a one of a kind dress that I am proud to call my own. After months of somewhat successfully keeping a secret, I am so excited to share the finished product and offer it for a limited time through Trunkist, until the end of the month.

For me, a universally flattering take of one of my favorites, the swing dress, inspired by my love of the 60's was the only clear choice for a design. I wanted a playful print that not only worked for Fall, but year around, and for under $100.

Priced at $84 and made with care in the USA, with the option to ship worldwide.

The dress is available in US sizes 2-14, I'm wearing a 2. *refer to the sizing guide for more information.  Disclosure: I had mine shorted 2" to scale the fit {since I'm just under 5'3}, I wanted to show that the dress is designed to hit mid thigh.

The Bonnie is an ode to one of the classiest ladies I know, my grandmother.

Stemming from my love of the 60’s and 70’s, this classic shape reminds me of the determined, but innocent, freedom that sparked a modern revolution.

I wanted something eye catching that had both a modern and retro appeal. I was immediately drawn to this black and white print. Its pattern naturally compliments the shape and movement of the dress, giving it a dynamic look and feel.

It’s not just about what a dress looks like but how amazing you feel once you put it on. My goal was to create something to make you want dance like no one is looking or strut confidently down your own concrete runway. For me, the Bonnie is for the woman with sass, who isn't afraid to make a statement. I can see myself wearing this for years to come and I hope you love it as much as I do. Endless pairings call for taking this beauty from day to night. Wear her with opaque tights, boots, or even stacked pointed heels with a perfectly drawn cat eye.
Pre-Order ends on August 31st, and there will be a limited number of dresses sold, so I suggest you grab one sooner than later, because once they're gone, they're gone. Shipping is slated for Early October, just in time for fall leaves and bordeaux lipstick.

So, grab your liquid eye liner and get ready to give your hair a good tease this babe is going to steal the show this season.

*If you don't love her as much as I do, Trunkist provides a money-back satisfaction guarantee.  But, I'm sure you will, so, be sure to share a picture of how you wear #thebonnie. I'll be compiling the pictures and sharing them here! Xo.
