Medina II Day To Night

It’s really no secret that I play favorites with Fall, there’s just something about the crisp feeling in the air that feels almost like magic to me. Of course, the loads of layers and the stylish boots don’t really hurt. Which is why I’m alway on the hunt for functional yet stylish fall additions for my closet. Because, you should never have to sacrifice style for function, right? Absolutely, which is exactly what I thought when I first set my sites on SOREL’s Medina II, original yet modern with a touch of elegance and edge. Now, you might already be a fan of SOREL’s winter boots, but after seeing their new Fall collection, you’re going to love them almost all year around...

The Medina II isn’t like other all weather boots, they can be worn dressed up or down and worn for just about any occasion. Be it work, shopping, brunch or even date night with their luxe attention to detail and function. Plus, the pop of metallic with the gold plated heel? Perfection. Which is exactly why I’ve teamed up with SOREL to share my new Fall favorite boot and how to style it from day to night. Now, as you might remember my long standing rule of finding at least 3 different ways to wear an item before adding it my closet to guarantee that it will get worn, and of course keep the cost per wear down. If you missed my #1boots3ways Instagram posts, check them out. If not, here’s two more ways to wear Medina II....

Obviously, it wouldn’t quite be Fall without some sort of denim involvement which is why jeans (via Maurices) and a white flowing blouse with a few loose accessories were the clear way to go for day. Put together yet laid back and not stealing the show from the boots.

As far as night goes, layering is key. A flirty little skater skirt and graphic tee with a leather jacket to give the entire look a tough feel . This time around I removed the leather cover (yes, it’s removable!) to keep things monochromatic. When things get cooler you can be sure that I’ll be adding textured tights to this ensemble.
How would you wear Medina II
