Recipe: Raspberry Cheese Danish

I'm kind of obsessed with anything that contains cream cheese (heck, anything cheese), so of course it's only natural for me to feel the need to introduce rich and colorful danishes into my breakfast routine, right? Let's be real who doesn't want to have home made danishes for breakfast...

These bring the perfect amount of sweet with a hint of tang and can easily perk up any morning. Plus these are easy (and fun - perfect for kids!) to make.  And since I'm all about easy, I brought my Immaculate Baking Co. crescent rolls back for another recipe go!
Watch out hips, it looks like I've found a new favorite!

Raspberry Cheese Danishes - Serves 6
1 Pkg/Tube Crescent Rolls
8 Oz. Softened Cream Cheese
1/3 C Sugar
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
3/4 C Raspberries, or fresh fruit of your choice
2 Heaping Tbsp. Flour

Preheat Oven To 375˚

1. Remove crescent rolls from tube and place on a non stick cookie sheet in the form of one large rectangle, set aside.
2. Combine cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla in a small bowl, mixing until smooth.
3.  Cut 1/2 Inch-ish diagonal strips on both side of the dough, and spread cheese filling leaving space between filling and dough 'slits'. Top with Raspberries.
4. Fold the strips over the filling, somewhat making a braid.
5. Bake 15 Minutes, or until golden brown. Let Cool.
6. Slice and Enjoy, and feel free to brag to your friends about the amazing danish you just made ;).

I am definitely now forced to make this. I, as well, am in love with anything with cream cheese in it. And cream cheese and raspberries?! YES!
