Fresh Lemon Limeade

Lemonade has always been my beverage of choice when the warmer weather comes around. I don't know if it's the refreshing yet tart citrus or the cooling, sugary after bite it's just one of those classics that needs no introduction. So of course instead of really mixing things up, like I did here, I decided why not stay with the citrus family and concoct a lemon limeade.
Lemon Limeade (Serves 5)

  • 5 lemons
  • 5 limes
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar

  • *Tip - Firmly roll lemons and limes on table or in your hands to make juicing easier.

  • 1.  Halve 4 of the lemons and 4 of the limes for juicing, save the others for slicing, lining the jug with thin lemon and lime slices.

  • 2. Next, combine the juices, sugar and water in a saucepan, cook over low heat, stirring constantly until cooked.

  • 3. Pour over slices in jug and let chill for 3 hours in fridge. Serve immediately and Enjoy.
