Leather and Lace

15 March 2012

A few weeks ago while shopping in a consignment in NC with my grandmother, I picked up a couple leather pieces for $12, including this red skirt, which originally was a maxi and I decided it would work better as a mini, even with my love for lengths.  I was so excited to wear it that I finally debuted it last Friday, on my lunch and shopping date with Assunta from Three Kitcheneers...

Ooh yes - I agree...I think it would have overwhelmed your small frame as a maxi, but this is perfect! The shape is so fun & love how you styled it :)

You so did the right thing Megan to shorten the skirt! Your legs so deserved it :))) Beautifully styled too with the blouse and heels!

Love this red leather skirt! And I think you rock it as a min rather than as a maxi, good idea! :)

I'm really liking leather minis lately. I can't even picture that skirt as a maxi. I think you did the right thing in chopping it for sure!
