Snapped

This past week and a half has been amazing on many fronts and I'm sad to say we're going home tonight, and as bittersweet that it is I am looking forward to having "space" again and getting back into our routine.

Looking back at the past year and my ever evolving style from maternity to layering and playing with prints and colors. It's been a fun year at TFD and I look forward to many more with my wonderful friends and readers.

 

Luck Be A Leopard

We all have a certain dress we deem lucky or a personal favorite and this lengthy number has been a personal favorite of mine since first wearing it on this very street corner. It was only appropriate to wear it again since it carries a bit of luck and sentimental value.

Christmas

 Christmas this year was a little out of the typical tradition and more like a  "Jewish Christmas" which according to my husband (and his family who happen to be Jewish) means going out for Chinese. Which is no problem at all since it happens to be our food of choice, especially since we happen to be residing in my old stomping ground, Flushing.

So chinese, followed up with jumping on the 7 to Bryant Park for Christmas lights made for one interesting experience for me and the kids. I'll be sad when we eventually have to go home, especially when I consider this my home.
