Last week the people from Nordstrom Rack invited me to their Clear The Racks event to do a little shopping, so who was I to turn down a little retail therapy at one of my favorite stores? And after being sick most of the week I finally got around to making the trip to Tampa (which is our nearest store) for the last part of the sale, and wouldn't you know shopping always makes me feel better. I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the enormous store and was immediately welcomed with smiles by the manager, who came to check on me a few to times while I was out and about in the store to see how I was doing.
Everything was perfectly organized, and easy to find which made my first stop, shoes a heck of a lot easier to maneuver.

( I bought these for my mom, $7, how could I not?)
On the rack I discovered loads and loads of clearance shoes, boots and sandals from $7 - $50 and up to $80 for Hunter boots. I sadly left the shoe department empty handed with hopes of going back for the black wedges by Mia that were $49.90. There was a perfect array of this season's must haves like cobalt, snakeskin, and suede, I was disappointed I didn't spot a pair of cobalt pumps, next time, right?
Next was the Clearance Racks, which was undoubtably picked through in my size but I happened to spot a few 'serious' finds like a Winter Kate bed jacket for under $60, and Equipment button down for under $50 and some Splendid and Tart tanks under $10.
Now Onto The Fall Finds, which included plenty of leather, bohemian chiffons, printed blouses and of course, maxi skirts.

After an hour or so of browsing, I hit the fitting room to try on a few pieces...My favorites were the maxi skirt, polka dots and a couple other shirts including the button down in this post. I ended up passing on the maxi skirt due to some 'markings in permanent marker' that I wasn't sure would come off.
But as It turns out I had no trouble spending the entire $100 gifted to me for shopping the event, I think there might be 50 cents left. Stay tuned for outfit posts featuring what I found at the Rack.
What have you found at Nordstrom Rack lately?
*Nordstrom Rack gave me a $100 gift card to shop their "Clear The Racks" event and as always my opinions are 100% honest, and my own.
