How I Wore It: Embelle Boutique's Beautiful Sunset Dress

12 May 2011

During my 'lovely' extended stay at the hospital I received a colorful, sunny congratulations gift from the amazing people over at Embelle Boutique that brightened my week. I have literally been dying to throw this baby on since I pulled it out of the box. Luckily today is the day that I get to debut the Beautiful Sunset Dress ($12.99).  I love the billowy flow with the outrageous colors, it is a sunset in it's own.

I've never actually been a fan of drop waist ensembles, mostly because I have a tiny waist and bigger hips, so it only seemed appropriate to accentuate my waist before my hips. However, after trying this dress on my mind has more or less been changed due to the fact that my baby bump has moved to my chest making things a little shorter than usual (I.E making this a drop waisted dress). But It's hard to dislike a dress when it's a sunny as this. Xo

I want to order this dress, but not sure if a medium or large would be best fit. I'm about a size 10 jeans/shorts and sometimes a medium, sometimes a large shirt, depending on how its made. What do you recommend? Did it seem to run small or large for the size they sent you? Love your blog btw!!

Lisa, I would get a large, I normally am a small and it's a little snug on my - so it runs a little small.
