Summer Style Staples: Light Denim

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Tampax Radiant at Walmart. The opinions and text are all mine.

I'll admit it, I dread that time of the month.
Show of hands, who leans towards darker shades when Flow makes her rounds? Definitely me. Like every woman, I've had my fair share of leaks during my adult life to know better than to wear white and light denim during that time of the month. Plus, the whole needing what seems like a tote bag for all of the essential tampons and pads makes me feel like I'm carrying an additional diaper bag. Ok, I'm exaggerating a little! But you catch my drift.

Not anymore baby!

Meet the new Tampax Pocket Radiant (available at Walmart &! Gone are the days of skipping small bags and crossbody's during your period. They're about the size of a tube of lipstick and fit right into your tiny bags and pockets. Now, the only thing you have to worry about fitting in your clutch is your giant pineapple phone case.

The packaging is genius if you ask me and even comes with a unique re-sealable wrapper. Tampon users, this is a game-changer and is so appreciated for discreet disposal. Who knew a little 'sticker' would make a world of difference. It's the little things, guys!

Aside from the purple pocket-sized applicators (color! woohoo!), the practical function is amazing. I'm gonna be TMI for a second and say I was a day into my period when these arrived and had already experienced a couple leaks within a couple of hours from a different brand. I was already over it and frustrated. I went in expecting the same thing from these, but nope. Not one leak - ZERO. When I say I felt safe enough to break out the bright colors and light denim you have to understand how free I felt. Light denim and white is officially back on the table with these, and I have the Tampax superior width-wise expansion and LeakGuard Braid™ protection system to thank.

That being said, you can see how I'm sporting a few of my favorite summer items I would probably never wear during that time of the month. My favorite light-denim cropped jeans and this amazing, brilliant hued kimono with the addition of a tiny fringe bag. Sure, my phone case barely fits, but it definitely has a room for a few Tampax Pocket Radiant's, a lipstick or two, sunglasses and my wallet.

I think it's safe to say I feel confident and ready to tackle the rest of the week without the stress and anxiety of my period. Which is why I'm challenging you to give Tampax Pocket Radiant a try and take your own fashion risks while doing so. Whether it's bringing out the white denim or your favorite clutch, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
