Cranberry Sangria

For me, holiday entertaining isn’t quite the same without a festive drink or cocktail to pair with the rest of your menu. You need something that fits perfectly with the theme, right? I’m glad we’re in agreement. Which is probably why I was absolutely up to the task of creating the perfect recipe for my holiday entertaining with Riunite Lambrusco.

Sure, the exceptional wine is great on its own {and paired well with just about everything}  but I wanted to get creative and make something fun. Sangria! Yeah, it’s not summer anymore so I don’t get to sit under the summer sun with my favorite gals and sip Sangria at brunch but it doesn’t mean I can’t make one that’s perfect for ringing in the holidays with friends. I did a little thinking about some of my favorite, easily blended flavors that paired perfectly with the holiday season and came up with Cranberry Sangria. Guys, it’s so freaking good.

It’s sweet, It’s tart, It’s festive. Be warned, you’re likely to have your guests asking to be sent home with the recipe.
What You Need:
One 750ml bottle of Riunite Lambrusco
32 Oz. 100% Cranberry Juice
1 Cup Fresh Cranberries
1 Large Tart Apple, Chopped
1 Orange, Halved and Sliced

In a large pitcher or glass bowl muddle the cranberries, oranges and apples with a wooden spoon until softened.

Add the cranberry juice and (750ml) Riunite Lambrusco, stir.

Refrigerate for at least an hour, overnight is preferred, and serve chilled.

Garnish with cranberries, orange & apple slices

Happy Holidays and Please Drink Responsibly.
