From Maxi to Midi

When I received this maxi dress I noted it was a little on the shorter side, and for my height that doesn't come by often. No really, I'm 5'3, It doesn't. So I told myself well I'll just hang dry it and make sure not to put it in the dryer, ever.

Turns out my husband didn't get that memo and did the laundry the next day, because he's wonderful. I'm sure you know what happens next, the dress shrunk a lot.  NBD, I didn't like it as a dress anyways.

So I cut the 3 inch tube top off and made it a skirt...turns out my hopes of it being a maxi quickly became midi length, which seems to be all the rage so I'm on trend now, right?
