Though it seems I'm wearing stripes two days in a row, I actually just wasn't able to post yesterday's look of the day because I was stuck on the set in the boondocks literally all day and was unable to take my picture or get an internet connection (but managed to lock my keys in my car, awesome!). Though I can tell you I wore this lace top with skinny jeans and gladiator zip up platforms completed with chains accessories. As for Today, I had my husband snap a few pictures before I ran out for Day 3 on the set, ahhh only 1 more day! And here is what I wore...
Jacket H&M ($7) Tank H&M (Circa 2006 $4) Pants Banana Republic (Circa 2007), Bag Old Navy ($17) Vintage and Kohl's Bangles ($1) Chain Necklace My Creation
An Added Accessory...that just didn't want to leave ;)
I made a quick trip to Ulta today for their Urban Decay event, and picked up some samples while having my make up done by the ever stylish make up artist Chris. He asked what I wanted and I said 'have fun' with it. So I guess I shouldn't of been surprised when I emerged with bold peacock (minx) lined eyes, loads of mascara and sparkled smokey eyes. None the less, it was fun and gave me a break from the wardrobe stress for the upcoming film - which starts tomorrow by the way. Woo! I've been meaning to wear this jumper for quite some time now and haven't because all the shirts I have to pair it with (including this one) 'bunch' up because they're too long, Oh well. I paired the jumper with a striped tee, blue peep toes and a woven clutch. Completely with Black and Silver accents, including a layered chain necklace created by moi.

Forever21's fall shoe collection is awfully familiar to designer pieces (remember Ida?), but for those of us who can't afford numerous pairs of designer shoes this is quite the good thing. Take these fabulous Miu Miu mary jane platforms, gorgeous right? But the almost $500 price tag (on the ones that aren't sold out yet) sets me back oh say a couple of months, but forever21 brought us 3 options (though the polka dots are sold out, for now) for a lot less at $25.80. What do you think? Can you spot the Steals?
I feel wayyyyy more inspired today, I keep forgetting I have this jacket in my closet and how much I love it and the perfectly placed gold accent buttons. As soon as I saw it today I immediately knew what I wanted to wear it with and how inspired it made me feel. I opted for the flower pin instead of a necklace because I wasn't really feeling something around my neck and thought it added a nice touch to the jacket. Completing the look with my $5 H&M dress (here and here), platforms, floral print bag and nude belt. It feels so neutral but has a sort of military yet feminine touch to it. What do you think?
Jacket Juicy Couture, Dress H&M (here and here), Flower Pin Vintage, Bag Kathy Van Zeeland, Bangles and Belt Vintage, Shoes Michael Kors.
I don't know about you but this whole 'almost fall almost end of summer' is leaving me feeling uninspired, I want to buy fall pieces but it's too early to wear them and buying summer pieces is impractical since summer ends in 3 weeks. So I'm having to dig in my closet for fall like summer pieces so I can start wearing some of my newly acquired fall items like these boots I snagged from Forever21 earlier this month. Which by the way are my first Forever21 shoe investment, so far so good. I actually ended up wearing these all day to run errands and it turns out they're comfortable and sturdy! I paired them with leggings, a lace trim tunic and blazer.
Leggings Marshall's, Tunic My Creation, Sequin Tank Express, Blazer Bitten, Bag Old Navy, Shoes F21 (here), Necklaces Old Navy and Vintage, Bangles H&M

I think I finally found the rain boot for me! I'm all about the Jimmy Choo Hunter Boot but I clearly am in no place to buy $400 rain boots so bring on the cheaper alternative from Christian Siriano for Payless, for under $50 thank you very much! Perfect timing since it's been raining non stop for the last couple of days, I've love to pair these with leggings and a trench. Can you spot the steal?
The rain is bringing in a cool breeze or two so I can stand wear a blazer for a whole morning, I paired my silk skirt with a white tank and blazer and completed the look with a berry bag with a scarf, plaid peep toes and silver accents. What do you think?

Speaking of designer collaborations, Cynthia Rowley has jumped on the let's make everything chic train, first it was pampers and now it's band aids. I mean we all want to make our battle scars look chic, right? I'm not exactly sure if I should make a joke or be excited about Cynthia's newly pimped out band aid line, but it looks like she's covering all the bases (joke it is, get it?) with her name. Each Cynthia Rowley Limited Edition package comes with 20 band aids in 3 different sizes for $10, it's a slightly steep price to pay to make your boo boo look fabulous. Though I'm not sure I want to draw attention to my injuries, especially the shoe induced ones. Or maybe 'blinged' out band aid's are the new IT accessory. Let's take a look at what she came up with...
Ok They're pretty sweet, and they give back!
One dollar from the sale of each tin will go to Design Ignites Change, an organization that engages high school and college students in design and architecture projects that address social issues in their own communities.
When I spotted the Tucker lookbook had finally been released I squealed with joy, and partially jumped out of my seat causing my husband to sigh - because he knew fantastic fashion news had just graced my screen. For those of you who didn't get a first look at Tucker by Gaby Basora's collection for Target on Gilt last week you get to see what all the hype is about and get ready to run to stores on September 12th. The collection is a perfect match to her uber feminine signature prints and all the pieces you crave for fall. This just might be Target's most practical designer collaboration yet, with pieces just about every woman would wear without looking over the top. Enough talk - let's just fall in love.....
